It just doesn't seem quite right to create a rainbow without that brilliant cheek and stripe, so even in a graphite drawing, it felt like a neccessary addition. 
This concept combines the simplicity, elegance, and universal application of a monochrome graphite drawing with just a "splash" of watercolor added.
